The Beauty in Christ Service Sisterhood
Faith · Purpose · Sisterhood · Service
Find your beauty in Christ. Become rooted in purpose. Serve like Him.
Our mission
Pretty Girls Who Serve exists to help women become Proverbs 31 women by discovering their true beauty and identity in Christ through sisterhood, ministry, and service.
Pretty is not
Pretty is the beauty made visible when a woman knows who she is in Christ and reflects Him through her character, confidence, compassion, leadership, relationships, and service.
The PGWS member journey
Rubies represent God-given worth, bold faith, courage, conviction, resilience, leadership, and purpose. A woman does not earn her worth through appearance, status, achievement, or perfection. She is valuable because she belongs to God.

Become oneThe mirror gives way to a bottle of myrrh with a ruby stopper, from Esther 2:12. The cross stays on it: same sisterhood, same Savior, a symbol of who she is becoming.
“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.”Proverbs 31:10 (KJV)
Pretty Girls Who Serve is where faith, self-worth, leadership, sisterhood, and real community impact meet.
We are becoming Proverbs 31 women—secure in who we are, wise in how we move, and ready to make a difference.
THE PGWS MEMBER JOURNEY
Every experience has a purpose. Women are welcomed, rooted in Christ, prepared to lead, connected to chapter life, and sent to make measurable impact.
FAITH · PURPOSE · SISTERHOOD · SERVICE
Pretty Girls Who Serve is a Christ-centered organization that equips college women to grow in faith, lead with purpose, build genuine relationships, and serve their campuses and communities.
OUR MISSION
Pretty Girls Who Serve exists to help women become Proverbs 31 women by discovering their true beauty and identity in Christ through sisterhood, ministry, and service.
OUR VISION
We envision communities of women everywhere committed to becoming Proverbs 31 women—rooted in Christ, secure in their God-given worth, united in sisterhood, and known by the way they serve others.
WHY “PRETTY”
Pretty is not perfection, appearance, popularity, status, or performance. Pretty is the beauty made visible when a woman knows who she is in Christ and reflects Him through her character, confidence, compassion, leadership, relationships, and service.
OUR SYMBOLS
The bottle of myrrh is our mark. Before Esther ever stood before the king, she spent six months with oil of myrrh: beauty as preparation, not performance. A mirror shows how she looks; myrrh is about who she is becoming.
Rubies represent God-given worth, bold faith, courage, conviction, resilience, leadership, and purpose. A woman does not earn her worth through appearance, status, achievement, or perfection—she is valuable because she belongs to God.
“…six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odours…”
Esther 2:12 (KJV)
“Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee.”
Song of Solomon 4:7 (KJV)
“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.”
Proverbs 31:10 (KJV)
MEET OUR FOUNDER
Founder & Executive Director
Shayna Vincent is a faith-centered educator, Florida A&M University alumna, student advocate, and the founder of Pretty Girls Who Serve and Esther Funds Foundation. For the past several years, she has worked alongside college students and families as they navigate financial hardship, emergencies, leadership, and the barriers that can interrupt a student’s education.
Shayna created Pretty Girls Who Serve to give women a genuine Christ-centered sisterhood where faith is lived through service. Her vision is to help women know their worth in Christ, grow into purposeful leaders, build meaningful relationships, and use their gifts to strengthen their campuses and communities.
