Pretty Girls Who Serve · est. 2025

Historyinthemaking.

We're new, and we love that. Our story is being written right now, and every woman who joins is part of it.

Begin the story

Before the sisterhood

She grew up believing she was ugly.

Long before there was a Pretty Girls Who Serve, there was a girl who could not see her own worth. Shayna Vincent lived with depression and low self-esteem for most of her life. She was bullied. Her faith in Jesus was challenged again and again.

She grew up believing she was ugly. It was not a passing thought; it was an internal belief, and it shaped how she saw herself and everyone around her.

Home was not always a safe place for her heart. Her father carried trauma of his own, and the way it spilled over wounded her deeply. She learned to lean on food for comfort. By college she was drinking a lot, and living outside of God's will, out of loneliness and pain.

At 23, she discovered the Proverbs 31 woman. It changed her life.

She went on to start Esther Funds Foundation so students could pursue higher education and finish what they start. Pretty Girls Who Serve was born out of something just as personal: helping women find their pretty, their beauty in Christ Jesus. So many women are fighting an identity battle. She knows that fight, and she knows the way through it.

Her price is far above rubies. So is yours.

October – November 2025

The first room.

Shayna founded Esther Funds Foundation to help students finish college. But EFF's women kept asking for something more: a sisterhood. Pretty Girls Who Serve branched off from EFF because our members wanted one. It started with a table, a Bible study and a room full of women.

Now launching

Pretty Girls Who Serve is announced as a national, faith-based sisterhood of Esther Funds Foundation, created to help women discover their beauty, purpose and identity in Christ.

From the mirror to myrrh.

Our old mark was a mirror with a cross inside it. Our new mark is a bottle of myrrh with a ruby stopper, and the cross stays on it.

Before Esther ever stood before the king, she spent six months with oil of myrrh. It did not change who she was. It prepared her for what God had already called her to.

A mirror shows how she looks. Myrrh is about who she is becoming.

The ruby is Proverbs 31:10: her price is far above rubies.

What our symbols mean

The bottle of myrrh

Before Esther ever stood before the king, she spent six months with oil of myrrh. Our beauty is preparation, not performance: who God is shaping us to become.

Esther 2:12
The cross

It was inside our old mirror and it stays on our bottle. Christ is at the center of everything we are. The mark changed; the Savior did not.

The ruby stopper

Our worth is set by God, not by looks, status or achievement. A virtuous woman's price is far above rubies.

Proverbs 31:10
The fragrance

When the bottle opens, the fragrance fills the room. A woman who serves carries Christ wherever she goes: we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ.

2 Corinthians 2:15
Esther

A young woman, prepared in private and placed by God for a purpose bigger than herself. She gave Esther Funds Foundation its name, and she is the reason for our myrrh.

Esther 4:14
The P31 woman

The woman Shayna discovered at 23, the one who changed her life. Strong, wise, faithful and kind. We call it becoming a P31 woman.

Proverbs 31
“…six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odours…”Esther 2:12 (KJV)
“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.”Proverbs 31:10 (KJV)

The next chapter has your name in it.
